Jervais Riverland Shiraz Red Wine

Description

Jervais Winery is located in the renowned Barossa Valley of South Australia. With a family legacy of winemaking expertise spanning generations and 340 years of viticultural experience, it stands as a double five-star winery in Australia and has consistently been ranked among the world's top 100 wineries. The current senior winery owner, Karl Jervais, received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Australian Wine Association at the age of 70. He is one of Australia's top ten star winemakers and also serves as a judge in various international competitions.

The grapes for this wine are hand-picked from the Ge Zun Garden, which is famous for its single-vineyard Shiraz. The vines are over 50 years old, and the annual production is only 1,000 cases, making it one of the representative wines of Jervais Winery. The wine has a deep ruby red color and an alcohol content of 15.2%vol. It is accompanied by complex aromas of raspberries, spices, licorice, red curry sauce, forest berries, sheep fat, and pink peppercorns. The wine has a full body, a well-structured and layered texture, smooth tannins, a rich flavor, and a long aftertaste.
